Directors Blog: Few words from the director of Leap Start Early Learning Childcare
I hope you are all healthy and well 😊
Wow we are nearly halfway through the year and what a wonderful journey we have had.
Through the times we have had, I’d like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for being so supportive.
We are so blessed to have such amazing and passionate team members, children, and families.
Through the last month, I have been able to assist and observe multiple educational experiences that have enhanced children’s learning and life skills.
Our beautiful babies environment have been separated into two areas to allow the younger bubs to enjoy the outdoor area and nature while the older children engage in their own space.
The toddler and kindy children have been exploring gardening and have been such great little helpers, deciding what herbs and flowers they wanted in their garden beds and the process of keeping them hydrated by turn-taking with watering the gardens/ making sure they get enough sun.
We have also all enjoyed the dance and music programs.
Children are given opportunities to engage in relaxation and stretching as well as well as more upbeat dance and music lessons to wake our bodies up and calm our bodies down.
Other exciting moments we have enjoyed have been: Easter craft/ Easter egg creations over the easter break, making mothers days/special people in our lives gifts and we are excited to continue learning about each other’s cultures, enjoying cooking from different countries, and lots of multicultural activities based on the diverse variety of families and children as well as our educators.
Please see some photos of what we have been up to…
Wishing you all a happy Mother’s Day and safe weekend to you all.
My door is always open, please feel free to come and chat to me or provide feedback, it is very much appreciated 😊
With love from
